Greats
"Grands Raising Greats" is a welcoming space for grandparents and non-relative caregivers who are caring for children the second time around. It's a time for connection, camaraderie, and sharing among fellow "Grands."
During our lunch gatherings, we come together to share resources and offer support for one another while discussing the challenges we face with our children, affectionately referred to as our "greats." Our focus for the summer months will be to explore various options to keep our kids engaged in enriching, safe, and fun summer activities.
What can I expect at a GRG meeting?
August 18- Let’s kick off the school year together!
September- Join us to welcome Billie Jo Wagner with Hope Road Counseling! She will share some tips on how to navigate the tricky parenting role as a kinship caregiver!
October 21- We are ready to talk TBRI- Trust Based Relational Intervention, and how we can be healthy in our daily lives!
November 18 - Are you ready for the holidays? How can we help?
