Trauma & TBRI Overview

Our lives and behaviors are shaped by our experiences. But did you know, our experiences also affect our biology? During this training, we'll explore how adverse childhood experiences change our brains and bodies. Incredibly, our brains are plastic and we can create new neural pathways. Where there is breath there is hope and change IS possible. We'll also learn more about Trust-Based Relational Intervention® a critical tool in serving children and parents from hard places.

Making Sense of Your Worth

What we believe about ourselves influences our behavior. This 8-week course (2 hours per session for 8 sessions) focuses on developing an understanding of the “lies” we believe about ourselves, such as “I am not good enough,” or “I am not smart enough,” or “I have no patience” and how to replace these lies with truth. In addition, once a participant is released from the beliefs associated with the past, the sessions focus on rebuilding a new life based on self-worth as well as how to maintain these gains.

Groups of 5-12 people form based on need via the interest form below.

Location and meeting times vary and can take place across York County.
